Underground Railroad Quilt Project!

Hello Historians!

We are going to be studying the secret behind quilts during the Civil War. Sometimes they held a secret message to slaves, explaining how to use the Underground Railroad to run to freedom. Sometime they held warnings, showed landmarks, or told how to follow the path. Explore this site, and design your quilt square. You will be making your square out of cloth with Mrs. Bykowski in art this week!
